Impact Hub Stockholm

Jakobsbergsgatan 22, Stockholm

Information
Impact Hub Stockholm is the first coworking space for social entrepreneurs in Stockholm (established in 2008). We believe that the world’s greatest challenges can never be solved by one person or organization alone. We need to work together. That’s why we set out to create a thriving innovation ecosystem where people collaborate across organizations, cultures and generations to solve the greatest challenges of our time. Throughout our history, we have strived to create dynamic coworking spaces that bring communities together to grow our collective impact. Now we are leading by example through a dynamic partnership to enhance our mission for enabling social good.

This innovative new location opened in January 2020 and combines sustainable and recycled furnishings and classic Scandinavian design under one roof. The 600sqm interior is designed by Kanozi Arkitekter, driven by a creative and powerful humanistic approach to serve the functional needs of busy entrepreneurs, paired with inspirational sustainable design. Impact Hub Stockholm’s new office is based on the ground floor of Jakobsbergsgatan 22, sharing the address with H&M Home, Skandia Fastigheter and Konsumentföreningen. Skandia Fastigheter, European Furniture Group and SAVO and numerous others have collaborated with Impact Hub Stockholm to develop this new office concept as the next generation of coworking impacts the future of real estate.

Motivering
The design embraces the urban basement feeling of the location that brings a sense of intimacy in this community space for social entrepreneurs. Lighting by Belid creates a sense of movement and place, and enhances the comfort and sophistication brought by EFG and SAVO's furniture installations. Glass walls between rooms enlarge the feeling of space in the open office while creating different working spaces and rooms for various feelings and functionalities. With a vision of the future, all elements have been chosen with sustainability in mind - from curtain fabrics from Svenssons to seating textiles, even the bamboo toilet paper is carefully selected with considerations to impact within the supply chain. This is not an attractive office. Impact Hub Stockholm is a living space that fosters human connections for a more equal and sustainable world.
